As Americans, it is our honor and duty to support our nation's veterans in any way we can. Each year we introduce a new collection in partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members. With every purchase of a Folds of Honor umbrella, we donate $5 directly toward funding these scholarships.

The Thought Behind the Design

When we set out to deliver this new design, we wanted to create something that would be unique to our previous collections, yet familiar to the American eye. Our team sat with the word “freedom” for some time, and soon enough, came to a mutual “AHA” moment. What is a representation of freedom to citizens of all demographics? The American flag.  

Our nation’s flag has always been a symbol of freedom and bravery. It is a reminder of the sacrifices that have been made by the courageous men and women who have fought and died for our country. And when it’s held high in the sky, waving in the wind – we are all reminded of the challenges we’ve faced and endured. 

That's why for the latest design, we took the primary elements of our star-spangled emblem, freed them from their forms, and reunited them in a reimagined, lattice pattern. The idea behind the design is that no matter what our nation endures, we always come back stronger and better together.

Giving Back to Our Nation's Veterans

As a nation, we owe a great deal of gratitude to the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom, and we’re honored to provide an opportunity to show up for them in a big way.
