This Privacy Policy and Security Statement (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how information, including personal information, about you is collected, used, and disclosed by Weatherman, Inc. (“Weatherman,” “we,” or “us”) when you use our website, mobile applications, and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected by (1) us by any other means than your use of our Services; (2) any third party, including information collected through an application or website that may link from or to Weatherman’s website; or (3) resumes and other information submitted to Weatherman for purposes of employment. You are responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any changes to our Privacy Policy, and we encourage you to review the most current version of the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services.
We understand that privacy is important to you and it is important to us as well. Some of the primary reasons for our Privacy Policy are to (1) explain to you the way we use information that you share with us to provide you with a great product and experience; (2) ensure that you understand what information we collect from you and what we do—and do not do—with it; and (3) help us protect your privacy under this policy.

Data you provide at registration
When you register for Services with us, we ask for certain personal information, such as your name, address, email, username, and password.
Data you provide when you purchase our products
When you purchase a product from us, we ask for certain personal information so that the purchase can be completed. This information includes your name, address, email, debit or credit card information, and other financial information that we need to process your payment.
By accepting the Privacy Policy and purchasing products using Weatherman’s Services, you expressly authorize Weatherman to use and share your information with its vendors who it trusts to facilitate your purchase of its products, including payment processors and shipping vendors. Weatherman provides these vendors with only the personal information it believes is necessary for them to perform their services, such as names and addresses to our shipping vendors. These vendors may be in locations with different privacy laws and have their own privacy policies. Weatherman, however, will treat your information under the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Data we collect when you use our Services
When you use or interact with the Service, we may collect information about how the Services are accessed and used. This information may include:

- How you use our Services, including inactivity, engagement with the Service, the time and date of use, what items you place in the shopping cart, and page views;

Data we will ask permission to collect from your mobile device
We may provide functionality to our Services that require us to collect additional information from your mobile device or to access certain features on your mobile device. For example, we may allow you to share a photo that requires us to upload a picture from your mobile device. This additional information may include your mobile device’s photo and camera, location, microphone, and contacts. We will not access any of these features or information on your mobile device without asking for and receiving your permission. If you provide such permission, we will collect the information or access the features only for the purpose explained when we ask for your permission. You do not need to grant us permission to use our Services, and your general acceptance of this Privacy Policy does not mean you have granted us permission to access this information or these features.
Location based information
To provide location-based services on Weatherman products, Weatherman and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your computer or mobile device while using our Service. Where available, location-based services may use GPS, Bluetooth, and your IP Address, along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations, and other technologies to determine your devices’ approximate location. Unless you provide consent, this location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by Weatherman and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, your device may share its geographic location with application providers when you opt-in to their location services. Some location-based services offered by Weatherman may require your personal information for some features to work or to fully function.
Our use of Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that is played on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. The cookie allows website providers to recognize your device when you visit their website.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies to help us analyze how users use our site. Google will use the information on behalf of Weatherman for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
We also use cookies to store information about your use of our website, to record the number of visits to our website, to store information about the contents of your shopping cart on our website, and to store your password for future visits. Some of the cookies expire when you close your web browser (sessional cookies) and some remain for a period of time or until you delete them (persistent cookies).

- Sharing information
Information that Weatherman shares
Weatherman does not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.
We may share information, including personal information, with advertising partners to send you promotional communications about Weatherman or to show you more tailored content, including relevant advertising for products and services that may be of interest to you, and to understand how users interact with our advertisements.
We may share information with service providers to perform functions to support our Services. For example, our website and online store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. When you are visiting our website, you are visiting a website hosted on the Shopify e-commerce platform, which is subject to its own terms of service and privacy policy. Other services providers with whom we share information include payment processors and shipping providers. We share only the information that we believe is necessary for these service providers to perform the services we need to provide you with our products and Services or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.

Information that you share
The Services allow users to post and share certain information. Any information that you post on our website or share with other users through our services is neither private nor confidential and you should not have any expectation of privacy with respect to it. You should exercise caution and common sense when posting information, and at the very least, you should demonstrate the same degree of caution as when disclosing personal information by other means.

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with control over your information. Allowing us to collect information is not required for you to use our Services, however parts or all of our Services may not function if you do not allow us to collect and use certain information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Some ways that you can limit the information that we collect or how we use it:
- Many web browsers allow you to manage your preferences with respect to cookies. You may be able to set your browser to refuse cookies or delete certain cookies.
- Your mobile device allows you to turn off location services.
- If you do not want to allow Weatherman to contact you to promote our products and services via email, you can opt-out by clicking here.
Please note that there is no accepted standard on how to respond to “Do Not Track Signals” that can be activated on certain web browsers. Weatherman does not respond to such signals. Nor does Weatherman change the way that it handles information under this Privacy Policy in response to such signals.
- Security
Weatherman is committed to protecting its users’ information. Your password protects your user account, so you should use a unique password that would be difficult for someone to guess (for example, do not use your name). While we take precautions to protect your data, no security measures are completely secure so we cannot guarantee the security of user information.
- Children
Weatherman’s Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or under any applicable age limits. If you are under the age limit, do not use our Services and do not provide your personal information. If you are a parent of a child under the age limit and learn that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at help@weathermanumbrella.com.

Weatherman may provide links to websites offered by third-parties. A link does not constitute an endorsement of the third-party website or the third-party’s products or services. When you visit such third-party website via a link you are subject to the terms and conditions of that website, including its privacy policy.
